General Photographs of MASIRAH

Picture
Please feel free to send me photographs of Masirah, Past and Present, for publication on this website. There is no facility to upload them yourself but I am happy to do it and credit the photographs to the sender.

Click on a photo in a collection to enlarge and then scroll through that collection.

N.B. - Update December 2022
There are not many photographs from the 'Pongoes' that inhabited RAF Masirah but we were always indebted to them for handling our mail, looking after the telephone systems etc.
There are many photographs on the website of Sean Plowden-Wardlaw, Royal Signals, 1976-77, at the following link.

Photos of my Service with 603 Signal Troop. (plowden-wardlaw.de)

I have made a recent change in that I have given the gallery pages a number 'Gallery page 1 / 2 / 3' and added the names, at the top of the page, of the people that sent me the collections. I hope this makes it easier if you are looking for a specific named collection, maybe an old friend.

I must state that I cannot be held responsible if photographs are sent to me that the sender does not have legal ownership of, I can only take peoples word that they can authorise publication. If you did not take the photo's yourself, but know who did, you can let me know and I will publish with the information given.

All photographs will be credited to the sender, I won't take any credit for them.

If anyone else requests to use the photographs I will stipulate that they must give credit to the photograph owner as depicted on this website.
