RECENT PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO OF THE ISLAND
TAKEN AS LATE AS 2019

A BAE Video of RAF Oman Hawks with some great scenes at the beginning of the island and some wildlife.

Video showing a panoramic view of a section of the Northern end of the island. Very familiar to those that have spent time there.

A few still photographs of the island

In the 1960's I really don't remember any rubbish being washed up on the beaches apart from off bits of flotsam and jetsom from ships. Nowadays there is a huge amount of plastic bottles and other waste that washes up and is cleared by members of the Turtle Beach Golf Club.
These are some of the photographs of bags of collected rubbish.

Some shots of the Golf Club and the course.
Some camp views
