David Lloyd (RAF Seletar Association & member of RAF Masirah and RAF Salalah Association). was on 72 Squadron Wessex for exercise Bersatu Padu, which included Victors at Masirah – I was also on 57 Squadron (Victors) in 1977/78 when we did a Westabout which included Darwin and Tengah – in those days the squadron badge was a Heinz 57 logo!

John 'Eddy' Edwards - aka 'Eddy the Paint' - 1974

Dave White - Dave was in Masirah 1959-60 and has provided a good array of photographs including a lot of the local population.

The RAF must have guessed that I liked Islands as my next three overseas postings were  Christmas Island, Cyprus and Gan !  After leaving the RAF I joined International Computers and while with them did three years in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, so certainly got my share of sun !

Roy Black -- Roy gave me these photographs at the 2013 association reunion to scan and upload for him.

Archie Sullivan - Originally RAF Regiment then RAF Fireman.
One of the team that fought the fire on SS Daphne in 1968

Dave Hancock - 1975-76
Dave was a 'Stacker' (Supplier, worked in SCAS on inventories)

Dave Pitts - 1973-74
Dave worked in the Commcen and has been back to the Middle East since but, like most of us, not to Masirah.
